IBM | March 2020 - Present DESIGNER, FRONT-END DEVELOPER

Developed and deployed information search applications build on a MEAN stack, Mongo Express, Apollo, NextJS. Worked on Watson chat-bot information indexing, facet responsonses, and document retreval. Built node tools for extracting and analizing business records for analytical review. Worked on IA and the NEXTJS powered front-end to a new CMS that is used company wide. The CMS leverages the Adobe Experience Manager software and is instrumented with New Relic for usage reporting.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Worked on custom video streaming administration UI built on React, used for managing subscriptions, streams, and followers. Built test versions of an automated documentation system leveraging JSDoc and Docz to extract components for a JS/React based video player and video streaming UI plugin.

SR DEVELOPER

Managed and led the development of several marketing and technical projects, including a design system for web software that is used across the university. Introduced tools such as Trello and Freedcamp to better manage projects on our team. Worked across departments, and talent groups, to create standards and best practices for web projects. Used site traffic data, user testing data, and code to improve user experience.

LEAD FRONT-END DEVELOPER & UX DESIGNER

Collaborated with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, create tasks, and supervised junior devs to complete tasks. Created wireframes and user workflows for new applications based on user testing and business goals. Developed the front-end for new websites and apps with Ruby on Rails, Drupal, and Wordpress.
